In honor of long-awaited spring, I thought I would share a few photos I’ve recently taken of lovely flowers. After our long, harsh winter, it’s so nice to see these vibrant bursts of color. The words “the birth of spring” are trite and over-used this time of year. It’s certainly not great writing — but doesn’t that sound just about perfect when you look at these amazing miracles of nature?

thanks for “reading”!
Love this time of year when the flowers finally shake off winter. Up here in southwest NH the gardens are popping up. It’s fabulous!
It’s been a long winter – we just had snow in Mass, but in GA spring is already in pretty deep. I love spring flowers – thanks so much for “reading”
I wasn’t pleased with the snow showing up this past week. Fortunately it’s all gone now. Time to get some veg into the garden. My kind of local food shopping. 🙂
Wonderful images of the emerging spring. A glorious reminder of the beauty of Creation. Takes one’s breath away. Thank you, Chef.
Love the birth of spring. It is fresh and new every year so not trite or cliched at all in my opinion. Hope you’ve had a wonderful Easter.
